All characters are sorted into which SSB game they debuted in. If you die, it's game over and you'll have to start over. In All-Star Mode, you fight every single character in the game in one go. Every character has their own unique classic mode designed for themselves. ![]() Completing Classic Mode with any charcter will net you a special Trophy based on there Final Smash, and beating it with every character unlocks a new difficulty, Random. It plays much like previous instalments of Classic Mode, but it looks more like Melee and Brawls Classic Mode more then SSB4's Classic Mode. Of course, every character is different in the way they play. Either completing Classic Mode or clearing 5 challenges in the Smash Chamber will unlock a random new character. You only begin with 26 fighters, however: the rest must be unlocked by other means. The game features an enourmous roster to play with, having over 134 playable characters in it. Certan team matches will give the team a special name (Ex: Mario + Luigi = Mario Brothers, Ness + Lucas = PK Defenders, Peach + Daisy = Flower Power, Bowser + Bowser Jr = Koopa Troop, etc.).(Ex: Peach's gown gets slightly torn, Meta Knight's mask slightly cracks, more human characters get bruses and cuts, etc.) Battle damage is shown on characters the more they get hit.Shaking it left, right, up, or down will have them use their Up, Down, or Side special respectively.
